The Spring Fling event was held on May 11th, 12th, and 13th, 2012 near Pass Creek. I went to the even for a few hours on Saturday the 12th and Sunday the 13th. I was excited for the nice weather and to be able to use my new lens and camera combo this time around. My new camera has a much better ability to capture higher frames per second than my previous so I left the event on Sunday with 630 images to edit and go through. This has become a bit of a daunting task when I spend 10-12 hours a day working but I managed to tone the photos down to a little over 300 images within a couple of days and then it took a few days to upload the high quality images to my portfolio site.
I hope to get to head out to more events like this in the future so I can fine tune my skills and ‘shutter finger’.
