FRIDAY JANUARY 9TH – SUNDAY JANUARY 11TH

Heeling, Motivation & Rally-O Workshop with Amanda Labadie

The West Kootenay Kennel Club is hosting Amanda Labadie of Lethbridge Alberta for three days of exciting and fun workshops. This weekend is a great value at only $80 a day for working spots and $40 a day for observer spots. There are observer spots available all three days, and a few working spaces left on Friday and Saturday. Friday and Saturday are “Drives and Motivation” workshops, you do not need to attend both days, and this would be suitable for any dog at any level. Sunday is a “Heeling Games” and a “Rally Obedience” workshop – the working spots are full but there are observer spots left.

Doggy Detectives

One of our most popular classes. The focus of this class is teaching the dogs to use their natural scenting ability to seek out hidden food and eventually they can learn to track, find and alert to specific odours. The same type of training is used for narcotics detection, bomb detection, and even to sniff out certain types of cancer! It’s very fun to train and they all love it. Old, young, shy or outgoing dog can do it! It’s great mental stimulation and a wonderful activity when you cannot do a long walk or you are stuck inside because of the cold!

1pm – Must RSVP. Please SIGN UP HERE

$30 per class or buy an 8 class pass good for ALL our group classes for $200. Pre-pay here or pay in store.
