To our valued customers,
Coinciding with the BC Government’s recommendations for Phase 2 re-opening we are making the following adjustments to our hours and services. These changes are effective May 23, 2020.
Pet Supplies Retail Store:
The retail store will be expanding our open hours to 11am-5pm Monday through Friday.
At this time we are encouraging customers to wear non-medical masks while in the store, but we are not requiring them. We have continued with increased cleaning protocols and have physical distancing directions set up in store.
Grooming:
We are operating at full capacity for grooming appointments – we are currently booking several weeks out. To book an appointment please do so online.
We are currently utilizing a no contact drop off and pick up procedure. We are offering nail trimming services but only by appointment – no drop in at the time. Nail trim appointments can also be booked online.
We require proof of rabies vaccination for all new grooming clients. For details about grooming drop off and pick up protocols please read this post.
Daycare:
We have opened the dog daycare one day per week to start, with more to follow. We will not be taking any new dog daycare clients at this time.
We are still offering Adventure Hikes every Thursday. We are able to take new dogs for the off-leash hikes! For information and to book please visit this page.
Training:
We are offering online group classes for basic obedience and puppy training. These classes are highly effective and easy to do from home. For more information visit our group classes page.
We are currently offering in-home or at our facility private lessons outdoors only. These are a perfect choice if you want to work on some obedience skills with one-on-one attention from your trainer.
If you have any problem behaviours such as barking at dogs or people on the leash, outdoor private lessons will be very suitable.
If you have issues occurring with your dog inside your home, we can help with virtual lessons. These are affordable, safe and highly effective. Please contact us by e-mail or book a free phone consultation to discuss training options.
Puppy socialization: We will be starting a NEW drop off Puppy Power Hour on Saturdays at 2:30pm for puppies to socialize safely in a professionally supervised environment. Your puppy will get to play with other puppies and friendly adult dogs. This will be available for puppies up to 16 weeks old. Puppies must be up to date on vaccines to attend, with a minimum of first vaccine no sooner than one-week before the play session. The cost will be $10 per session, and $5 per session for those enrolled in online Perfect Puppy Classes. Book here.
