September 13th was yet another beautiful day at the old Birchbank Train Station near Trail. Barks and Recreation’s owners and most of their staff were there to help with all the fun events for the participants and their dogs. This year we also had some vendors from the area selling their products as well as The GOAT FM there to play some great music. There were tricks, nose work, agility, and herding demos for everyone to watch while wandering around the grounds and meeting and talking to one another. Some fun games were held such as a Hotdog Dunking contest and a Best Trick contest for all the participants and their dogs. It was a fantastic turnout on a busy weekend filled with events around the area and the best part was the $17,000 that was raised for our local Regional BCSPCA!

Bark and Recreation would like to send out a HUGE thank you to all of the individuals that joined our team as well as the many customers that donated what they could to help out our local branch of the SPCA. Our team raised over $2800 this year!! A new record for us!
